This past year, Picture This celebrated lesbians with outstanding films featuring love stories from three distinct periods of a woman's life: SONJA, about an adolescent experiencing her sexual awakening; THIS KISS, about two women in their late 20's, reuniting for their 10-year high school reunion; and A LOVE TO KEEP about two middle aged schoolteachers living in Spain under the dictator Francisco Franco, who must fight entrenched attitudes and the fascist state to keep their relationship intact.
Picture This! also continued its exploration of homoerotically appealing coming-of-age themes by presenting BOYS LOVE, IN THE ARMS OF MY ENEMY, THE GOOD BOY, the highly acclaimed, multi-award-winning 7 VIRGINS and TEENAGE ANGST, fresh from its debut at this year's Berlin Film Festival. With this collection, the Company continues its efforts to tap into the adolescent in all of us and rekindle those memories that for better or worse have shaped our development into adults.
Most recently, we released the fifth installment of our successful gay short compilation series (BOYS BRIEFS 5), featuring new, notable offerings from the film festival circuit.
